New tracks up

What's up y'all. Like Peter, I'm also sick. Not like, siiiiiick, just like, under the weather. This morning I blew my nose and out came a congealed piece of phlegm, blood and snot which I'm assuming is the exact shape of my sinus because I'm not sure anything more could fit in there (it was like the size of my thumb!). And on the topic
of gross things, here's a nasty track from pase rock ft spankrock - lindsay lohan's revenge. It's about Lindsay Lohan's cooter. I love how they compare her downstairs to a baby rat; gets me every time.
What a sexy motherfucker.
Kid sister and Kanye put out this track a while ago and I was going to blog about it, but never got around to it. The song is called "Pro Nails" and it's about girls getting their toes and nails done. That's really it. Seriously. Oh actually the exception is when Kanye raps about having a big dick. Fuck you Kanye. It's a catchy track anyways and I think the video is hilarious, too. When they start break dancing with their fingers I just lose it every time.

The track by Soulja Boy called "YAHHH!" hasn't helped my sickness either. My cool ass friends and I be running around the town in a hot-mess screaming this to every bartender that hands us our tabs especially at Chapel cuz that place is hella pennies. Beth turned 21 at Chapel though the other night. It was hecka fun... I think it's the start of crazier crazyness.
YAHHH! on Youtube (hellza funny)
This song is tite, my boy Brian put me on it...or it on my computer. It's hot....it's MGMT and the song is "Electric Feel". They come to Seattle the 31st of January but you guys shouldn't go because I DJ that night at Fourno's. yadadimeannn??!?!
This past Friday I tabled for UW's Rainy Dawg Radio at The Cool Kids show with my boy DJ Pryme. It was dope frreal. So many kids with so many cool shoes. The Cool Kids rocked it though. They killed it for real. I got a video of them performing their song "I'm Mikey" and you can check it out on youtube right here on my facebook account.
These are the Cool Kids below. You can't see them in this photo but Mikey (on the left) was wearing some tight pants. Like tight not tite and they were so damn tight!

Harper's/Skillz' Yearly Wrap Up
Eight hundred ninety-nine U.S. troops and 18,610 Iraqi civilians were killed in the Iraq War. Eighty percent of Iraqis were reporting “attacks nearby” and it was estimated that 90 percent of Iraq's artists had fled the country or been killed. In Venezuela, President Hugo Chavez embraced President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran. “Welcome, fighter for just causes,” said Chavez.
Wildfires spread from north of Los Angeles to south of San Diego, and scientists at New York University were deleting frightening experiences from the memories of rats. The first Muslim member of Congress took his oath on a Koran once owned by Thomas Jefferson.
Drought was driving tens of thousands of snakes into Australian cities, female koalas in Australia were ignoring males in favor of five-bear lesbian orgies, and developers were planning to open a Hooters in Dubai. Scientists in London were working on a gum that suppresses appetite and fights obesity. “Obese people like chewing,” reasoned a researcher.
The United States projected that it would emit 19 percent more greenhouse gases in 2020 than it did in 2000, and U.S. pollution was cited as the reason that the Dutch are now taller than Americans. The United Arab Emirates beat out the United States to become the world's most wasteful country, Ford posted a loss of $12.7 billion for 2006 (the largest in its 103-year history and equivalent to the GDP of Jordan), and General Motors announced it would open a new research center in Shanghai to develop alternative fuels and vehicles.
Geneticist Craig Venter announced that he had constructed a synthetic chromosome out of laboratory chemicals, creating the first artificial life form on Earth. Britney Spears shaved her head, and an appeals court in Washington, D.C., ruled that the writ of habeas corpus does not apply to prisoners at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The market price for children in India slipped below that of buffalo, and crystal meth was now available in candy flavors.
Kurt Vonnegut, Norman Mailer, and Boris Yeltsin died. Osama bin Laden turned 50 and the Senate doubled the bounty on his head to $50 million. Ariel Sharon was still alive. New stars were hatching near the head of Orion. Paul Wolfowitz, Karl Rove, Alberto Gonzales, and Tony Blair resigned. “[Blair] was the worst thing that ever happened to Africa,” said Bright Matonga, the deputy information minister of Zimbabwe. “We hope that the children of Iraq and Afghanistan he is killing everyday will haunt him for the rest of his life.”
Reverend Ted Haggard declared himself “completely heterosexual,” and Paris Hilton went to jail. An Irish soldier who won the Military Cross for single-handedly defeating a Baghdad suicide bomber was facing a court-martial for auctioning his medal on eBay.
Scientists trained dogs to track polar bear feces, produced talking construction paper, made stem cells out of adult mice, and linked the upsurge in cat sex to global warming. Mr. Wizard died, as did Mr. Whipple. Pope Benedict XVI decreed that, by definition, Protestant churches are not churches, and it was revealed that Mother Teresa, beginning in 1948 and continuing until the end of her life in 1997, was unable to sense the presence of God. “Repulsed—empty—no faith—no love—no zeal,” she wrote. “Heaven means nothing.”
20,000 people marched against the junta in Burma; about 400 monks were pushed away from the house where pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi was imprisoned. “Love and kindness,” read the monks' yellow banner, “must win over everything.”

For your ears only
First off we've got some Big Face. Their biggest hit "I wanna be a style crusader" was definitely hot, but sadly overshadowed this equally ill track.
Big Face - Drink Juice like
Cop it: http://www.zshare.net/audio/6198862daaf7d9/
Buy it: http://www.myspace.com/bigfacebeats (they're letting everyone download it free, put your credit card away)
Next, my homie Jon Maust hooked it up with track featuring Moby and 3-6 Mafia. Pretty self explanatory and more importantly pretty sick.
3 6 Mafia - Get the fuck out my face
Cop it: http://www.zshare.net/audio/6199108545d0c5/
Buy it: couldn't really find a place to buy it, so enjoy the free version above : )
Lastly I got a Dead Prez remix. The original track is tight, but I REALLY like this Lars Vegas remix.

I'm so frustrated

it´s a 1 gigabyte player thing and I´m juiced about it cuz I luv cheap alternatives to the the Ipod. That mentality is probably why I have used technics and I use Torq instead of Serato actually. haha cheap ass. Anyway... I just finished my laundry and I left the goddamn thing in my cargo pocket. It's so small, it's not my fault... I think I'm going to sue Zen...we're in America after all.
It won't turn on (yet...)... I mean I can plug it in via USB to my computer and still add and delete files and play files directly from it but the bug won't turn on. Hopefully it's like my phone that I dropped in the lake in that it will be okay in a few days. Pray for it.
buy link...haha
I would be bumping this track by Treasure Fingers on it if it was working.
Treasure Fingers - Cross the Dancefloor
check his myspace http://www.myspace.com/treasurefingers it's got more dope beats free to download and a mixtape

Paper Planes
Paper Planes, is arguably the hottest track off of M.I.A.'s new album Kala. The best part of the track is the gun shot and cash register samples; it makes the song. When M.I.A. performed it on the Letterman Show, they censored out the gun shots and M.I.A. got pissed. Rightfully, so. Here's a couple of my favorite remixes of this track. First, there's the instrumental version; useful for making your own remix. Then, there's the remix ft. Bun B and Rich Boy--they spit some hot verses on it. Also, there's the Sri Lankan version by Esau Mwamwaya. It's pretty dope. I can understand a word he's saying, but it sounds cool. Last, but not least is a Cumbia version by Sonido Martines. Not my favorite, but it deserves a listen. If you want to listen to the original version or the rest of the album, you should buy it off
Paper Planes (Instrumental) - M.I.A.
Paper Planes ft. Bun B and Rich Boy - M.I.A.
Esau Mwamwaya - Tengazako
Paper Planes (Guachito Remix) - M.I.A.
Also, there's the original, kid safe version, without the gunshots.
Paper Planes (Original Chorus) - M.I.A.
Special Thanks to the Mad Decent Blog, for the tracks.

Christmas Jams

Vince Guaraldi - Skating - A classic from the best Christmas album ever, and surprisingly we done sampled this shit back in highschool for the Def Nephews, (I'll post that song up too, if I can find it.)
Hard Call Xmas - My Christmas Bells - This 80's rap song jacks the format to LL's Rock the Bells, with hilarious results!
The Soul Saints Orchestra - Santa Got A Bag Of Soul - I think this song is about Santa smoking weed, but I'm not sure. Either way it's pretty funky.
James Brown - Go Power At Christmas Time - More funky shit from the Godfather of Soul
Free Design - Close Your Mouth (It's Christmas) - A truly out there song, even by Stones Throw standards, this is probably as weird as Christmas music can get.
And the winner is....
Quad City DJ's, The 69 Boyz and K-Nock - What I Want For Christmas - Now that I think about this, it may be my favorite ghetto-tech song ever, and it doesn't even curse once. Backed by a Bambaataa sampling beat and two hilarious "12 days of Christmas" style countdowns of gifts, this is the creme of the crop.
Here's an example of the lyrical mastery of these groups
K-Nock "Christmas day, the birth of Christ no doubt/ that's what it's all about/Go ahead and stop the beat for a sec/ and show some respect"
BRILLIANT!
Remember to go out and buy this shit, they got the CDs at Urban and the vinyl at http://www.turntablelab.com/
