More Ratatat Remixes from Vol. II

More songs from the Ratatat-Remixes Vol. II album. This one is far superior to their first and their choices for acapellas are almost totally legit (there's a Memphis Bleek song on here just to show you their compassionate side though). Here's a sampling of the best of the album, not sure where you can get it in toto, I got it at their live show, but i'm a boss like that, so without further ado...

Jay-Z ft. Biggie Smalls - Allure (Ratatat Remix) - Never been able to listen to this whole song originally because the Neptunes beat is so terrible, but they do it up real big, and give a way more "Carlito's Way" sound than Pharell could hope for in his lifetime.

Young Buck, Game and Ludacris - Stomp (Ratatat Remix) - Best track off the album bar-none, this is the heater-est of them all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Z-Ro, Devin the Dude and Juvenile - The Mule (Ratatat Remix) - Great overlooked verses by all three, especially Juvenile who has a Jamaican thing going, but surprisingly makes it work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Slim Thug, TI and Bun-B - Three Kings (Ratatat Remix) - Never heard this song before but its a good one.

Beanie Sigel and Jay-Z - Glock Nines (Ratatat Remix) - Another great epic beat, with samples of Beanie's freestyle battle with Cassidy, pre "Hustler" days. Also throws on the Jigga verse from Watchers Pt. II for good measure. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Peace,
